Jay Hirschman grew up in the small town of Perry, Oklahoma, and attended Oklahoma State University, earning a degree in accounting. As a certified public accountant with a wide-ranging career, Jay has held roles as a programmer, systems and database analyst, and business analyst, giving him a deep understanding of complex business operations.

He spent 11 years at a Big 4 accounting firm, where he mastered the intricacies of auditing. Today, he works as an internal auditor at a Fortune 500 company, uncovering risks and enhancing processes in real-world scenarios. Drawing from his extensive background in accounting, technology, and auditing, Jay crafts suspenseful stories that are both engaging and authentic.
